SwarmNN is a community news website where users can contribute and share articles. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding your data.

When you use SwarmNN, we collect the following information:
- Discord Authentication: When you log in, we access your Discord username and user ID through Discord OAuth. No passwords or sensitive Discord data are stored.
- Articles and Content: When you publish your first article, an author profile is created. Author profiles are public and display your username along with your submitted content. This profile includes your Discord ID, display name, avatar, and optional information such as your bio, title, and social links.
- Comments: We use Disqus for article comments. By loading comments via clicking the "Load Comments" button, you agree to Disqus's privacy policy as it's website frame loads into the page. Disqus may collect information such as your IP address, comment content, and browser data in accordance with their own Privacy Policy.
- Usage Data (Limited): We may collect basic analytics, such as article view counts. We do not perform invasive tracking or behavioral profiling.
How We Use Your Information
We use collected information to:
- Authenticate users through Discord
- Enable commenting through Disqus
- Provide credit and attribution for published articles
- Display public author profiles
- Improve and maintain our service
- Prevent abuse and unauthorized use
- Communicate important updates
Data Storage and Security
Your data is securely stored using Cloudflare's infrastructure via Cloudflare Workers. We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your information. Since we do not store passwords or sensitive personal details, your exposure risk is minimized.
Third-Party Services

Your Rights

In cases of serious violations of our Terms of Service, we may delete your data, including your author profile and articles, except for records related to the infraction for moderation and security purposes.
